10 REASONS I AM Wayne is GREAT
10. Wayne is a great provider - he works incredibly hard and takes on extra projects to provide for our family so that I can be a full time never-stay-at-home mom.
9. Wayne makes time for the kids. He makes sure that he spends time with each child doing their favorite things - often with infinite patience when they want to do the same things over and over again.
8. Wayne is incredibly smart - he knows all kinds of great trivia stats and has finally memorized my birthday!
7. Wayne is an excellent Wii golfer... if only the prize money he collected was real...
6. Wayne is great with his students.... he goes that extra mile to make sure they understand how the theory they learn in his class can be used in the real world. He's always networking for them and finding partners who will take interns!
5. Wayne is a good son - he remembers to call his parents regularly.
4. Wayne is a great cook - of course he only cooks when he is in the right mood... but his fried chicken is to die for...
3. Wayne is willing to take the morning shift - Liam's bus comes at 6:30 and Robyn needs to be at the bus by 7:15, but Erik is a night owl... so Wayne goes to bed early, but gets both of the big kids up and out of the house so I can sleep in... (when Erik lets me)
2. Wayne is great at cleaning up.... where I'm a sentimental pack-rat, he can go through the kids toys or old clothes and just let them go...
1. Wayne is a wonderful husband - he's thoughtful, caring and actually listens. He puts up with my need to blog about our lives, the fact that I usually have to ask him to rearrange his schedule so I can volunteer or take time out for myself. He only nags a little bit... I'm a very lucky wife.
