Being Canadian we usually celebrate Thanksgiving in October however since we live in the sunny south, one must do as the Romans. It is a heartbreak to eat extra stuffing, turkey and cranberries. In all seriousness, I am thankful that I have such a good life. I have a healthy and for the most part happy family. I work in a job that I love with people that I respect. I live in a place that is beautiful and safe. I am truly a person of good fortune - in the best sense of the concept. I am grateful for my existence while we do not celebrate USA Thanksgiving with any specific ceremonies or traditions, I do pause to say thanks to my parents, my in-laws, my wife and children. They contribute so much to the my life.

May we all come to cherish each other and demonstrate a respect for life and liberty as a result. I believe that everyone has the ability in their hearts to make theirs and the people surrounding them lives better. May we all come to have faith in humanity and have that belief come to be justified.
