Friendship Friday - Social Media

Thanks to Joy for featuring both Heather and I last week.  This week's Friendship Friday topic is:

Social Media

I have to say that I am not as intelligent when it comes to discussions of social media.  I am a Facebook user and I do have a Twitter account but I do not use them as tools per se.  Heather, my lovely bride, at www.actingbalanced.com uses social media extensively.  She uses it to promote her blog and interact with a great number of people to a pretty good effect.  
I enjoy Facebook mostly to keep up with the going ons of friends living far away and former students.  I will admit to playing Jeopardy, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and other quiz show games on it too.   I have not yet really figured out a good use for Twitter.  I have been encouraged to start a LinkedIn account but I already spend too much time on the computer.  I still do not know what exactly Pintrest is and I have photo software so I do not use Instagram.  Further, most of the time I do not want to be found, so FourSquare is not my thing either.In summary, I guess I am just not 'friend' material.  It is hard to 'like' most social media sites.
