1. What is on your bedside table?
Lamp, iPad & a book - The question would be much more interesting worded as 'what is in the bedside table?'
2. Hardback, Paperback or E-Reader?
I am still a paperback dinosaur. I have not got used to an e-reader yet.
3. What is your 'go to' drink of choice?
Sadly, it is Coke. I am a caffeine and sugar junkie. Every now and then I try to give it up but I get so grumpy my wife encourages me to get back on the wagon.
4. How do you like to spend your birthday?
Curled up with a good book with some peace and quiet. Reading a book cover to cover is a privilege that just has not happened in a long time. There is always a child that needs something or another.
5. Finish this sentence - I would never be caught dead in ...
a bed with Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney, Ron Paul & Rick Santorum (or any other politician). It is hard enough to live believing I am being virtually screwed by them - to be violated in reality - that would be just too much to bear.
I can see maybe an hour of peace and quiet... but you are probably right about not getting to read an entire book cover to cover with our kids around...
ReplyDeleteMy kids are all older, and I STILL don't often find the time to read an entire book, cover to cover...but it does sound like a lovely day!!!
ReplyDeleteGood answers. I hope noone ever asks the "in the bedside table"-question :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! I would love a day to just sit and read. It seems like such a guilty pleasure for me.
ReplyDelete#1 - lol Okay and I'm glad it didn't ask what's in my husband's bedside table!
ReplyDeleteYou and m husband would get along well talking about dinosaurs. He JUST got his first digital camera and no interest n an e-reader!
Love your last answer!
ReplyDeleteSadly, we have to choose from the lesser of the evils.
