This was a tough week for me. As a wise friend pointed out to me yesterday, 80% of my job is awesome and 20% is junk. He reminded me how lucky I am to have a job where 80% of what I do I absolutely love. His astute point was that I could let the 20% junk let me down a path of hurting the 80% but that would just make things worse. How true!
After talking to him yesterday, I went back to my office and tallied up the good things that happened this week versus the garbage things. When looking at the balance, I am silly to let the negative push me away from all the good that can happen.
Thanks to my wise friend for his sage advice.
